I am very excited to be sharing a 4-part series on autism and puberty with you. I have decided to do a series on this topic for two main reasons: because this is a topic that is not often talked about and because more and more parents are coming to me with questions about new issues and/or challenges that are coming up as their son or daughter begins to go through puberty.

So, if your child is heading towards or is in the thick of puberty, I urge you to pay attention and take notes so you can help your child transition through this time with as much grace, support and empowerment as possible.

Part 1 is about helping your child feel as in control and prepared as possible and how to do that. CLICK HERE if you missed part 1.

Part 2  is about a key element that is critical to include in your child’s daily life, to help balance hormones, release anxiety and gain more control over his/her body. CLICK HERE if you missed part 2.

Part 3 is about how to cultivate something that all pre-teens and teenagers want – more independence! CLICK HERE if you missed Part 3.

And today’s video, the last one in this series, is about avoiding unnecessary frustration by speaking to and teaching to your child’s true intelligence and how to do that.

I’d love to hear from you. What is one thing you are taking from today’s video?
